My Story
My name is Jarde' Allen, and I am the CEO/ Founder of In the Moment Financial Services. I was born and raised in West Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University. I then spent over 10 years in Corporate America trying to make a 'round peg fit into a square hole'. After countless promotions, pay increases, and accolades I realized I was playing the wrong game. Although my six-figure salary and company car served me well, I was only being paid a tenth of my worth; and THAT was the game! After years of frustration of watching Black & Brown highly talented individuals get looked over right in front of me, I decided to stop fighting and begging for seats at the table and to create my own table.
I started my tax business in December 2019, with a cell phone and laptop on my couch in Drexel Hill, PA. I had finally decided to leave Corporate America and recently had a bad experience with a family member handling my taxes. In the minority community we don't typically have accountants and therefore default to family members or friends to prepare our taxes. I realized how much information we were missing out on and decided to go to tax school. At the same time there were thousands of Minority Entrepreneurs starting their own businesses who would be in dire need of this knowledge. I decided to position myself as a resource by obtaining as much knowledge about taxes and bookkeeping and then offering free consultations to small business owners. Those free consultations ultimately led to large amounts of revenue once I began services for these clients. I used my first $40k I made to put a down payment on a commercial building right in the neighborhood that I grew up in which is West Philadelphia. Our commercial building has served as a resource center for many minorities seeking financial literacy through home-buying workshops, free LLC giveaways, and so much more. We now have a team of experts that we partner with for life insurance, real estate, tax preparation, bookkeeping, etc... we are the one-stop-shop for all your financial needs.
That one decision to take my profit and invest into Real Estate has resulted in my company now owning a $1.5 Million Dollar Real Estate Portfolio. During this time, we have purchased 5 properties, totaling 9 rental units as well as an event space. I now use my summers to teach other minority individuals the power of ownership and the step-by-step process for owning a rental property. My goal is to retire at the age of 40 and until then I want to share my story, expertise, and advice to as many people as I can to continue to push our culture forward!

Accounting & Tax Manager
Robin is the Accounting & Tax Manager for In the Moment Financial. He is born and raised in West Philly and graduated from Villanova University with a Masters degree in Accounting. He comes with great experience and knowledge and is responsible for the Accounting and Tax functions of the company. He enjoys providing support and working with the ITM clients for their bookkeeping and tax needs
He loves all of his sports teams: Eagles, Flyers, Sixers,Union and the fightin Phils!!! If not watching any of his teams on TV, he also likes to ride his bike on the trails, playing Call of Duty with his friends, and reading a book

I am the Social Media Manager and Admin Assistant at ITM Financial Services. That means I am the face behind all the funny memes, tax tips, and video production.

Tony Allen
Property Manager
My name is Tony Allen and I purchased my first property in 1996 and quickly fell in love with real estate! Born and raised North Philadelphia I didn’t grow up around ot homeownership but I knew it was possible.
In 2020 my wife and I began building our real estate portfolio and we now own 9 units fully tenant occupied. I truly believe that having honest, respectful, and professional relationships with your tenants is the key to success.
At In the Moment Real Estate I am responsible for the upkeep of all of our clients properties and maintaining strong tenant relationships. We pride ourselves in never having a vacancy more than 30 days and owning 9 cash flowing properties.
